I have oily hair and wanted a deep cleanse on my roots. I have not heard of this brand before but wanted to try if it would work. I leave it on for 20 mins before showering and my hair feels so clean after my wash! I use this about once a week. It does not dry it out at all. Love this product and love this brand! Will keep an eye out for new products

Finally a pre wash that actually helps with my dry scalp. I'd been using Art and Acre for a couple years and still had dry scalp. This has helped half way through the bottle. It is really moisturizing on the hair and scalp. I love that is isn't full of water and the price is manageable. Bottle lasts a long time if you use it 2-3 times a week. Okay so I am mid age and I am highly concerned with my hair lately I have the rootest clarify purifier shampoo and this is just a pre shampoo so before you shampoo your hair you leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes it has a very strong chemical smell to me also it will make your skin sensitive to the sun after using this so I would recommend looking into that but other than that I don't know if I would actually use this if you do have a skin sensitivity or a smell to because they smell of this in a bathroom is very strong to me there is a process to it it just makes me feel I don't know as if I'm damaging my hair not helping it due to the strong chemical smell of the product it is an easy application though it is a twist open bottle and just application that way **This review was collected as part of a promotion.

I am super sensitive to smells and I am guessing either the lactic acid or the apple cider vinegar ingredients made it smell really sour and pungent. After the first time, I found myself using gloves to put it on and counting down the minutes to be able to wash it off. The results however were amazing. I found that it did its task of cleansing my scalp while not being too drying which is amazing. I use it twice a week and my scalp is still hydrated even though it used to be so dry.
